Watch: Anthony Elanga gets overly excited by one aspect of signing for Newcastle United
Anthony Elanga was officially announced as a Newcastle United player on Friday night, with the announcement finally dropping at 8 pm.
Since the announcement, there has been a steady stream of media coming out from the club, including an interview with Newcastle's newest star.
As with most of Newcastle's big signings, fans were treated to a 'First Day' video showing how the day unfolded for Elanga as he flew into Tyneside.
Elanga comes across as a genuinely nice guy who already has some pretty strong friendships within Newcastle United.

We were expecting the highlight of the video to be when Elanga meets up with his best mate, Will Osula, and while that was touching ... we're sure Osula was about ready to cry with happiness ... the true gold star moment came in the car on the way to the training ground.
Elanga was reminded that Newcastle's kits for next season come with a long-sleeve variant, something that made the 23-year-old very happy indeed.
"Oh my days. I don't think you understand just how long I've been waiting to have long-sleeved shirts."

We also had a good chuckle at Elanga being super proud of winning a header against Dan Burn. We're sure it will be mentioned once or twice when Burn returns to training next week.
To be honest, we don't remember him winning a header against Burn, but we were scarred by seeing the mismatch in a foot race two seasons ago.
Anthony Elanga looks absolutely delighted to be at Newcastle. We can't wait to see him in action.
