Vote now: 'Excellent' Newcastle United star has been nominated for EA Sports November 2025 Player of the Month
The nominees for November's Player of the Month have been announced by the Premier League, with a Newcastle United star in contention for the award.
Toon winger Harvey Barnes is amongst the nominees for the EA Sports Player of the Month after a superb month in front of goal for the Magpies.
As the video intro on the Premier League site says, he had three goals from five shots on target in the Premier League last month, and that's got to be worth a minute of your time to vote for the 27-year-old.
With it being the Premier League Player of the Month, it doesn't even take into account the fact that he also scored in the Champions League in November, but we'll mention it.
Harvey Barnes is up for the November Player of the Month award
For us, Barnes deserves the award for scoring both goals in our monumental win over Manchester City alone, which is mentioned by The Premier League when outlining the reasons for his nomination.
The former Leicester winger, who was dubbed an 'excellent footballer' by ex Foxes boss Martin O'Neill, is still keeping Anthony Gordon out of the starting lineup at Newcastle.

Barnes scored three goals across the month as Newcastle United recorded impressive victories over Manchester City and Everton. Barnes netted his first goal of November in a 3-1 loss at Brentford, but followed up with a goal either side of Ruben Dias' effort to secure a 2-1 success against Man City.
Harvey Barnes has some strong competition for the award
There are some strong contenders up for the award, along with Barnes to be fair, with Everton's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall nominated after his wonder goal against Manchester United, which he followed up with a sublime finish against Newcastle in Everton's 4-1 defeat at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Igor Thiago has been in inspired form all season for Brentford and is another strong shout, as is Manchester City's Jeremy Doku.
Hopefully, our lot will click that link above and get voting to skew the voting in Harvey Barnes' favour. We've got this.
