Wor Flags have issued a statement ahead of tonight's do-or-die Champions League fixture against AC Milan.
Newcastle United are unique in English football thanks to the stunning efforts of Wor Flags. Well, we were unique until other sides started copying us.
The scarf-twirling, flag-waving, tifo-rolling displays have gone a long way to generating an atmosphere in St James' Park that is unmatched anywhere else in English football and ahead of tonight's game, the fearless leader of Wor Flags, Graeme Robson has given an update on what's going down in the stadium tonight.
Graeme has promised that the display in the Gallowgate is apt for the occasion and will 'bring tears to the eyes' for some fans.
If you're fortunate enough to be attending the game tonight, make sure you watch Wor Flags' short video and take in what's said so you can be part of the magic.
Newcastle absolutely have to avoid defeat tonight to stay in Europe. A draw would see us drop into the Europa League and a win keeps our Champions League dream alive but it does depend on Borussia Dortmund beating Paris Saint-Germain.
It's going to be a nervy night for sure, but with the Toon Army roaring the lads on in the stadium it should give the players that extra bit of energy that's been missing recently.
There's a school of thought that suggests we'd be better off if we dropped out of Europe to ease the fixture congestion given the injury list, but knackers to that. The Champions League picks up again in the New Year, by then we'll have players back and maybe a couple of new faces in too. Let's keep marching on!
We can still do this. We WILL still do this! Howay the chuffing Lads!
