We didn't make a big deal of this in the write-up of Troy Deeney's Team of the Week selection because it needed calling out away from the positivity of that.
Troy Deeney has somehow landed himself a gig selecting the Team of the Week for the BBC and his deep-seated hatred of Newcastle United shines through in his writing.
This week he selected three Newcastle United players as well as Eddie Howe for Manager of the Week and in each two-line write-up, there was a reason for Newcastle fans to hit that rage button.
We're not sure what Newcastle has ever done to him, or if he just knows that we can't resist rising to the bait, but he's had a few digs at us lately and if we don't bite back, are we even doing our jobs?
He recently had a pop at the region saying no players want to play here, we, with help from the Ever More YouTube guys called him out on that, but now, in his Team of the Week selections this week he's managed to rile us up again.
It's hard to argue with what he said about Joelinton - it was silly signing him as a number 9. We're allowed to say that, but you haven't earned that right.
Anthony Gordon just got thrown in with Cody Gakpo. He couldn't even be arsed to write Gordon his own piece.
He tried to say that Eddie Howe missed out on the England job when he didn't even want it, but the most aggravating was again the Alexander Isak to Arsenal thing.
In writing about a Newcastle United player doing something good, Deeney decided to urge Arsenal to sign him. What is it with pundits and their inability to keep Arsenal's name away from Alexander Isak? It's like a reflex action.
Yes, they probably would win the league with Isak up front, but Isak is a Newcastle player, and right now the Magpies are climbing the Premier League table thanks to Isak.
Why the hell would we let him leave for a league rival? It's not a divine right that he goes to the Emirates. Alexander Isak is a Newcastle United player. Get used to it!
