Newcastle United are about to face off against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge live on Sky Sports - Kick-off is 8pm.
As suspected, Tino Livramento has been brought in to replace the injured Kieran Trippier which means the £32million signing gets to take a whack at the side that brought him through the ranks before he left for Southampton.
Also in the absence of Trippier, and with Jamaal Lascelles on the bench, Dan Burn will take over the duties as El Captian.
Miguel Almiron is restored to the starting XI in place of Jacob Murphy who is relegated to the bench.
The other noticeable absence comes in the form of Harvey Barnes who is missing out with a minor hamstring injury according to journalists on X. It seems that Barnes graduated with honours from the Callum Wilson School Of Recovering From Injuries.
Is it another feather in the cap of our medical team that keeps passing players fit to play when they're not? Is Eddie Howe working them all too hard? Or do we just have too many players made out of cheese strings and paper clips?
Mauricio Pochettino has named a dangerous-looking side, but as is always the case with Chelsea, the talent on the pitch is one thing but them actually playing well together is another.
Newcastle's alleged summer transfer target Axel Disasi starts for The Blues as does Cole Palmer who managed to enrage Newcastle fans with his celebratory antics after Chelsea dumped us out of the Carabao Cup on penalties.
This game looks impossible to call because consistency is hardly a word that can be used to describe either side. We're expecting a nail-biter though.
