Three forced changes: Our predicted Newcastle United lineup to take on Leeds United
Newcastle United will look to register their first win of the season at Elland Road on Saturday as they take on Leeds United in the 5:30pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.
Eddie Howe is being forced into a few changes for this game after Joelinton, Fabian Schar and Sandro Tonali all picked up injuries in the game against Liverpool on Monday night.
Anthony Gordon also picked up a three-game suspension after receiving a straight red card for a late challenge on Virgil Van Dijk.
Will Osula came off the bench to score a goal on Monday, however, easing fears of being without a goal scorer against Leeds.
Goalkeeper
Nick Pope - Despite Popey conceding three goals on Monday night, we don't see Eddie Howe bringing in Aaron Ramsdale just yet.
Defenders
Kieran Trippier - Tripps was everywhere on Monday night and has done nothing to suggest he should be taken out of the equation yet.
Fabian Schar - Fabi was taken off on Monday with a concussion sub, but has followed protocols and is eligible to return to action.
Dan Burn - Another powerhouse performance by the big man on Monday. Sven Botman will have to wait.
Tino Livramento - His bestie, Lewis Hall, is returning to full fitness, which will eventually see Tino move back to the right and Trippier to the bench, but this week feels too soon.
Midfielders
Bruno Guimaraes (c) - Bruno was up for it on Monday night. If he can put in the same level of performance on Saturday, he will do some damage.
Lewis Miley - Sandro Tonali wants to play on Saturday, but it may come too soon for him. He may make it on the bench, though.
Jacob Ramsey - Joelinton will not be fit to take part on Saturday, which gives new boy Ramsey the perfect opportunity to stake a claim to the Brazilian's spot.
Forwards
Anthony Elanga - He must be rubbing his hands together at the prospect of having a 6'6" Nick Woltemade to aim for soon. In the meantime, he has his good mate Will Osula.
Will Osula - With no other options available, Eddie Howe will have to turn to the young Dane. A goal on Monday night will have eased his concerns, though.
Harvey Barnes - Barnes must be buzzing that Anthony Gordon can't help getting himself suspended, as it keeps him in the starting lineup when Woltemade comes in.
There's a chance Sandro Tonali starts on Saturday, as confirmed by Eddie Howe, and that's the one position we're not 100% convinced with, but we're sure the rest will be spot on.
It doesn't leave many options to add something new to the attack if we need to change things, but the fact that we're still able to put out a strong side shows how far we've come.
