England take on Albania at Wembley tonight in a 7:45pm kick-off with three Newcastle United players waiting to see whether they will be playing part.

Before the game, though, new England boss Thomas Tuchel had to make the call to trim three members of his camp from the match day squad.

Tuchel called up 26 players for his first training camp but can only name a squad of 23 for the upcoming match.

Newcastle United's trio of England internationals have all made the cut for the 23-man squad.

Dan Burn is on course to make his England debut tonight

As per the BBC, the three players who are forced to miss out tonight are Southampton's Aaron Ramsdale, Morgan Gibbs-White of Nottingham Forest and Liverpool's Jarell Quansah.

That means that Dan Burn could make his England debut tonight after receiving his first call-up at the age of 32.

Having scored at Wembley on Sunday, setting his beloved Newcastle United on their way to lifting their first domestic trophy in 70 years, we'd say he's earned the right to step onto that pitch again tonight.

Tino Livramento and Anthony Gordon could make up England's left flank

Tino Livramento was immense on Sunday playing down Newcastle's left and Tuchel may use that to his advantage tonight.

Meanwhile, Anthony Gordon should be nice and fresh having had to sit out the last two games through suspension, so he could be raring to go down that left and side with TIno.

Seeing our boys add to their caps is fantastic, but most of all, we just hope they return to us with no injury concerns. There's still work to be done for Newcastle.
