Chelsea have confirmed the £51m signing of Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers which could pave the way for Noni Madueke to move to Newcastle United.

Transfers often have a domino effect and Chelsea's recent acquisition puts a question mark over the future of 22-year-old Noni Madueke who has been linked with a move to Newcastle this summer.

While the media up north is reporting on that being the possible outcome of Pedro Neto's arrival, Football London have decided that's simply not sensational enough.

Instead, they have gone with how Noni Madueke moving to Newcastle could unlock another huge transfer for Chelsea - because you know, they don't have enough players.

Chelsea think they can land Alexander Isak

Chelsea will use Newcastle's interest in Madueke to land Isak

Football London bafflingly claims that Chelsea will use Noni Madueke as a makeweight to land Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.

Bear in mind that Newcastle have absolutely zero intent to sell Isak and despite selling a hotel back to themselves and doing the same with the women's team, there's no way that Chelsea have the money to fund a move for Isak with Newcastle valuing him well over £100 million.

Even with Noni Madueke thrown in, we'd be amazed if Chelsea have the finances available to do that move ... and if they do, we'd love to know how.

Arsenal also seemed to think they were entitled to Isak

Arsenal fans and Arsenal-based media have also shown a bizarre confidence in being able to lure Alexander Isak away from Newcastle.

It honestly seems like the arrogance and the entitlement of London-based, "Big Six" teams is off the charts. They honestly believe they can buy anybody.

At least this gave us a chuckle on this toasty evening.
