After some speculation and intense guesswork Newcastle United fans can start to feel a bit of relief ahead of tonight's game against Everton.

With journalist Joel Bland hinting at another injury issue that the club have yet to confirm, along with Bruno Guimaraes' removal of his usual matchday social media post on X, Newcastle fans were starting to fear the worst ahead of tonight's clash at St James' Park.

We joined in the speculation putting two and two together and seemingly coming up with 52, speculating that Bruno Guimaraes was the mystery injury but now the Brazilian has reinstated his matchday post on X, which leads us to believe he will be involved tonight as Sean Dyche brings his Everton side to Newcastle.

That does leave the question over who the mystery injured party is, but we're back to thinking it's Tino Livramento who, we weren't expecting to be involved tonight anyway.

Tino Livramento could be facing a month out of action

Tino rolled his ankle on Saturday against West Ham and it looked pretty nasty, although with that type of injury you can either run it off in a couple of days or it takes you down for a month.

We now believe it's the latter, and we might not see Livramento in action again during April, which would be a massive shame as he's proven to be a very useful individual.

Kieran Trippier is still 50/50 as to whether or not he'll be involved tonight after missing out on the matchday squad against West Ham on Saturday.

Eddie Howe can still field a strong team tonight

Eddie Howe has plenty of injuries to deal with with an entire starting XI unavailable to him as Everton come to St James' Park in an attempt to grab their first win in 13 games.

Despite all the injury woes, Newcastle should have plenty of confidence going into this game after their miraculous comeback win on Saturday.

Kick-off tonight is at 7:30pm with the game being shown live on TNT Sport.
