Newcastle United haven't had a whole lot to get excited about this season until Wednesday night's win over Chelsea changed the mood which then became even more ecstatic after the 1-0 win over Arsenal.
Saturday's game came two days before the one-year anniversary of the game which had Arsenal fans and officials crying into their cereal for months when VAR had looked at three separate incidents to rule out Anthony Gordon's winner only to be unable to find a solid reason to do so.
It took Arsenal fans months to come to terms with that goal standing, and Saturday will have been seen as their chance to get revenge but it wasn't meant to be.
Alexander Isak scored the winning goal which, for Arsenal will have been bad enough after convincing themselves that Isak would be an Arsenal player this season, but our Admin on the club's official X account would keep on pouring salt into their wounds, and it seems they're not done yet.
Over the weekend, the ballsy Admin even took aim at former UFC Champion Conor McGregor who was spotted in the stands at St James' Park on the Instagram reels.
Then this morning, on the actual anniversary of the controversial Gordon goal which was looked at for the ball going out of play, an offside and a foul before being cleared to stand, the Admin was at it again.
"On this day last year 🔙
"@anthonygordon was on target in a fairly uncontroversial victory at St. James’ Park! 💫"
We hope they can keep it going, let's just become total outhouses online. We're not here to make friends after all.
Hopefully the Admin will have plenty of reasons to be cocky again at the weekend when Newcastle come up against an in-form Nottingham Forest with former Magpie Chris Wood gunning for Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot this season - what is going on?
There's also the small matter of having to deal with Elliot Anderson too. Plenty of material there if the circumstances are right.
