Newcastle United are in (well, near) Manchester to take on Ruben Amorim's Manchester United side live on Sky Sports. Kick-off is at 8pm.

In a break from tradition, this is the only Boxing Day fixture this year, so hopefully we can bring the festive entertainment to go along with all of those turkey leftovers.

Newcastle are desperate for another away win this season in the Premier League, having only managed one so far.

Eddie Howe has a good record against Man United as Newcastle boss, but we can't rely on historical statistics; every man needs to be on top of his game.

Unchanged

Eddie Howe names an unchanged side

Eddie Howe has resisted the urge to change things up following the 2-2 draw with Chelsea, and in all honesty, we don't really blame him.

In the first half of that game, Newcastle were incredible, and if they can recreate that passion and that quality tonight, and hopefully not lapse in concentration, then we've got a really good chance of picking up maximum points.

While there are no surprises in the starting XI, there are a couple of names of note on the bench with Nick Pope back in the matchday squad, but Howe opting to stick with Aaron Ramsdale for now.

Benjamin Sesko starts - That's him scoring then

Absent from the teamsheet is Anthony Elanga, and taking his spot on the bench is youngster Sam Alabi, who recently joined the Magpies in France for the Champions League clash with Marseille.

Casemiro starts for Man United alongside Mason Mount as Bruno Fernandes misses out. Lisandro Martinez wears the armband, and it will be interesting to see where he will play.

Former Toon target Benjamin Sesko also starts, and as has been the tradition this season with strikers with whom we were heavily linked in the summer, he's bound to score.

We just need to make sure we score more.
