Wouldn't you think that after being banished to Qatar-based TV for being a despicable creep, you'd try to keep your nose clean?
That's never been the case for Richard Keys and his mate Andy Gray who were sacked from Sky Sports after a hot mic caught them being, shall we say, misogynistic, to say the least.
Whether you agree with the action Sky Sports took or not, you'd think after being sent packing in disgrace you'd want to try and rebuild your reputation as a reputable figure in the world of football, but it just feels like Keys and Gray have gone the other way.
Much like Joey Barton who has just doubled down on being an insufferable clown to play into this reputation, Keys and Gray have done the same.
Richard Keys has always seemed to have an agenda against Newcastle United and even when he's being complimentary about them, he can't resist slipping in some backhanded digs here and there.
Whether it's because of the beef between Qatar and Saudi Arabia and his beIN overlords have conditioned him to do so or what, we don't know, but Keys, in his personal blog, has had more digs at Newcastle while trying to congratulate the club on their Carabao Cup victory.
"Speaking of Newcastle - what a turnout they had to celebrate their Carabao Cup win. Top class. I saw Alan Shearer front and centre again, despite the fact he had nothing to do with the success. I had to wonder if he still thinks ‘medals don’t buy shoppin’? That was always his excuse for turning his back on United and a trophy haul that would’ve inevitably followed had he gone to OT. There’s no feeling to replace that of winning - even second hand it seems.
"I’ve also seen enough of those professional Geordies Ant and Dec to last a lifetime. Tell me - where do they live on Tyneside?"
First of all, Ant & Dec are the most successful TV presenters of modern times, it's hardly their fault that their jobs are based in London, you absolute whinging plank.
And as for Alan Shearer, nobody represents our club more than the Premier League's highest goalscorer who turned down certain trophies to try and deliver silverware to his boyhood club. Alan Shearer absolutely epitomises everything that it means to be a Newcastle United fan.
Stick to your job as a professional misery and keep your hairy hands out of Newcastle United's business.
I know he just does this so that people like me will keep him relevant and the best form of action is to ignore him until he goes away, but if one doesn't vent, one stays awake up all night seething.
