Lee Carsley has one more England squad to select this week before his interim period as Three Lions boss expires and Thomas Tuchel takes over.

The England U21 manager was called up to look after the senior side for the Nations Leagues games in September, October and November. Now, after failing to impress enough to be considered for the job full time, Thomas Tuchel has been handed the job on a full-time basis, starting on 1st January. For now, Lee Carsley will see out his interim contract in the meantime overseeing this month's international break.

Carsley is due to name his squad on Thursday this week and we'll be looking out to see which Newcastle United players make the cut this time.

Anthony Gordon and Nick Pope have been present in each of the last two squads, and after originally missing out, Tino Livramento was called up from the Under 21s in October to join the senior group for the second month in a row. Although the right-back has yet to play any part.

Lewis Hall is on the brink of a senior England call up

Will Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall make the grade for England on Thursday?

It's going to be interesting to see if Tino Livramento gets another call and if Carsley actually uses the pacey right-back in the upcoming games against Greece and Republic of Ireland.

However, Livramento may not be the only Newcastle full-back in the squad if TalkSPORT are to be believed as they claim that Carsley has been keeping an eye on Lewis Hall who is having a fantastic season for the Magpies.

"talkSPORT understands England interim-boss Lee Carsley has been tracking Hall’s progress ahead of next week’s crunch Nations League double header with Greece and the Republic of Ireland."

Thomas Tuchel handed Lewis Hall his Premier League debut for Chelsea

If Lewis Hall fails to make it into the senior England side this time around, he may not have to wait much longer.

Thomas Tuchel was the man who gave Hall his first start in the Chelsea senior side in his brief spell as Blues manager.

Tuchel clearly saw his potential back then so will no doubt be watching his progress closely, even more so now that he's about to take over the reins as England manager.
