Alexander Isak has rediscovered his goal scoring form at Newcastle United lately with four goals in four games.
It has taken him a while to get his Midas touch back, but it's great to see him knocking them in each week.
This may come with a downside for Newcastle United, however, with Isak's representatives pushing for an improved contract at the club.
Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon recently signed new deals at the club and Alexander Isak's people believe he should be next.
The Boot Room's Graeme Bailey has today reported that Isak's people are 'shocked' that talks have been put on the back burner with Eddie Howe recently saying that a new deal for Isak is not a priority right now.
His current deal runs to 2028 and while he's not the club's top earner he's not exactly begging for a quid on the streets earning £120,000-a-week according to Capology.
When all the contract noise started it was when Isak wasn't scoring, so why would they put the club in PSR jeopardy again by increasing his wages if he's not performing?
Now his form is heading back to where it should be, it seems the contract talk is set to resurface. The club can't really afford to be throwing money at existing players while there's still so much shopping to be done in the transfer market, also the addition of a release clause is complicating matters for the Isak deal.
It's worth noting that the noise doesn't appear to be coming from Alexander Isak himself, but more his representatives - the real villains in football.
Of course with the talk of Isak not being offered a new deal, we'll have to endure more talk of Arsenal, Chelsea and now even Manchester City making a move.
