Former Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett looks set for a move to Championship club Sheffield United, according to reports.
The 32-year-old was released by the Magpies after a 23-year stint at the club joining when he was nine years old.
Dummett was released alongside Matt Ritchie, Jeff Hendrick, Loris Karius and Kell Watts along with several youth players including Amadou Diallo and Michael Ndiweni who both made first-team appearances.
There were reports earlier in the month that both Dummett and his former teammate Ritchie were looking set to move to the Blades, but the latter seems to favour a move to newly promoted Portsmouth to be closer to home.
According to reporter Alan Nixon, the Blades are ready to sign Dummett to bring more experience to their recently relegated side.
Dummett made his first appearance for the Magpies in 2013 when he came on in a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City on opening day.
The Newcastle-born star was a heavy feature during the club's Championship season in 2016/17 where he made 45 appearances helping the Toon return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Appearances slowed down towards the end but he was still a key part of the squad.
Dummett isn't the only released Newcastle player yet to find a new home.
In fact, the only professional to sign a deal is Kell Watts.
The 24-year-old penned a deal with League One side Cambridge United earlier in the transfer window.
Michael Ndiweni has reportedly trained with several clubs around the North East including Gateshead, Hartlepool and Blyth Spartans but no deal has been made.
Dylan Stephenson, who spent last season on loan at South Shields has also signed for National League side Dagenham & Redbridge.
