Welcome to NickWoltemadeFEED.com. It's a very Nick Woltemade-heavy start to today for sure, but Newcastle United's main striker is just a very newsworthy kinda guy.

As well as scoring for Germany again last night, ESPN also released an interview with the 6'6" Germany star in which he talks about his World Cup aspirations and the weight of expectation on his shoulders.

After such a meteoric rise to prominence, you'd maybe expect that the pressure would be getting to him by now, after all, he's still only 23, and he's gone from the third tier of German football to World Cup qualification in the span of about a year.

However, Woltemade clearly has a strong head on his shoulders and has often spoken about how he thrives on pressure, and that message was no different in his interview with ESPN.

Nick Woltemade is looking forward to Yoane Wissa being available for Newcastle

He was asked if he expected to be playing as often for Newcastle as he has since his arrival and how he feels about Yoane Wissa's imminent return, and it turns out the lad backed himself from day one, and is even looking forward to the competition for places, and hopes he can play alongside Wissa.

“I was expecting it (playing regularly). Not like I play every game, but sometimes with Wissa or Osula. Sometimes I thought we could change, sometimes because I play a lot of games.

“This is the first time for me, I’m playing in the rhythm of every three days. I’m really happy I play every game, and I still want to play every game.

"I’m also really happy if Wissa is coming back and I think we can also play really good together maybe and I think then the situation for sometimes you don’t feel so good in the game then maybe some other striker can come in and help each other together so we get more power and I think I’m really excited for the guys to come back.”

Let's hope Eddie Howe plays Woltemade and Yoane Wissa together

Yoane Wissa and Nick Woltemade's styles of play are very different, and many fans are hoping that Eddie Howe will play the two together, especially given how much Woltemade likes to come deep and support the attack rather than being the focal point.

Having Woltemade playing in a number 10 role behind Wissa would be perfect, but it would obviously mean Eddie Howe would need to rip up his current tactics and start again.

We certainly wouldn't be opposed to that, however. Something needs to change, as the Premier League has us completely sussed out.
