In-form Newcastle United are back in action on Monday night at 8pm live on Sky Sports as they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Other than a Carabao Cup victory there last season, Old Trafford has not been overly kind to Newcastle over the years, but as things stand, the Magpies are the team in form whereas the Red Devils are finding life very difficult right now.

Man United have already sacked Erik Ten Hag and replaced him with Ruben Amorim, who has five wins in 10 games so far. They also parted ways with Dan Ashworth just five months after finally getting him out of his garden.

Their latest outing saw them beaten 2-0 by struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers so Newcastle should go into this one with plenty of confidence and a mostly unchanged side from the 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

Same predicted XI as Aston Villa

Goalkeeper

Martin Dubravka - MDubz has three clean sheets in his last three Premier League games, although he's had very little to do in those matches.

Defenders

Tino Livramento - Missed out on the Aston Villa win through illness but we expect he'll be back to take his place ahead of Kieran Trippier on Monday.

Fabian Schar - As reliable as a Swiss clock.

Dan Burn - Sven Botman has his work cut out for him getting ahead of Dan Burn the way he's playing this season.

Lewis Hall - We're absolutely loving him and Anthony Gordon down the left lately. They work so well together.

Midfielders

Bruno Guimaraes (c) - Has hit a new level of form since he's been given the freedom to get forward and seems to be thriving.

Sandro Tonali - Has been simply phenomenal lately after Eddie Howe found the right position to play him.

Joelinton - The Brazilian beast was everywhere against Aston Villa and deserved his last-minute goal.

Forwards

Jacob Murphy - Who'd have thought we'd be considering Murphy undroppable after all the grief we've dished out this season, but right now he can't be stopped.

Alexander Isak - We'd love to see him continue his scoring run at Old Trafford. Another hat-trick would be nice.

Anthony Gordon - He and Hall will be the key to coming away with a big result on Monday.

Harvey Barnes, Kieran Trippier and Joe Willock will all be itching to get back on the pitch at some point, and against a tired Man United side, they could either help us hammer the result home or flip the script if things aren't going according to plan.

There's rarely been a better time to take on Man United than now, so let's go there and take full advantage.
