Newcastle United have a quick-fire opportunity to exact revenge on Sunday's opponents as Chelsea triumphed at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League but now travel to St James' Park in the Carabao Cup.
Sunday's game has gone and been confined to history, although there must be a burning desire to show what we can do against the Blues after having moments in the game in which we genuinely looked to be the better side.
We're expecting Enzo Maresca to field an entirely different starting XI on Wednesday night, though, making this a very different prospect.
Indeed, we're even expecting Eddie Howe to make several notable changes in a bid to keep his star players fit to face Arsenal on Saturday.
Odysseas Vlachodimos - It's probably going to be Nick Pope, but in for a penny. Why have five goalkeepers if you only ever use one?
Emil Krafth - Kieran Trippier is still injured and we'd rather make sure Tino Livramento is fit for Saturday.
Fabian Schar - A lack of options will see the usual central defensive partnership start.
Dan Burn - We could see Lloyd Kelly given a shot with Lewis Hall starting at LB...
Lloyd Kelly - ... but we've gone with Kelly at LB and a rest for Hall.
Lewis Miley - The 'wonderkid' rode the bench for the last two games after returning from injury and it's time the lad was unleashed.
Bruno Guimaraes (c) - Eddie Howe hinted at potentially dropping Bruno, but we expect he'll stick with his captain.
Joe Willock - Willock hasn't been at his best yet this season, but a start could be what he needs.
Jacob Murphy - Miguel Almiron was less than useless on Sunday so it's back to Murphy as the lesser of two evils.
Will Osula - Alexander Isak deserved to be dropped for his shenanigans on Sunday anyway, but Osula started in the last round, so why not stick with him?
Harvey Barnes - Anthony Gordon's groin injury may not be as bad as feared but using him on Wednesday night is not the best plan with Arsenal a few days later.
These changes will leave Eddie Howe with a very strong bench so if things aren't going according to plan he will have the likes of Lewis Hall, Tino Livramento, Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Alexander Isak to call upon.
