NUFC drawn against PSG, Dortmund, and Milan in the Champions League

Newcastle United have been drawn against Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, and AC Milan in Group F of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League.

The Magpies, participating in Europe's premier club competition for the first time in two decades, were in Pot 4 for the draw in Monaco this evening, which was conducted by Eric Abidal and Joe Cole.

When Group F was allocated by Abidal there were audible gasps in the room, as it was final confirmation of it being the group of death in this year's Champions League.

We should know the order of the group stage fixtures and the dates that they will be played within the next 48 hours once UEFA has had a bit of time to work through the logistics. As soon as we get that information we'll let you know.

Matchday 5: 28th/29th of November 2023

Matchday 6: 12th/13th of December 2023

Round of 16: 13th/14th/20th/21st of February 2024 and 5th/6th/12th/13th of March 2024

Quarter-finals: 9th/10th and 16th/17th of April 2024

Semi-finals: 30th April/1st May 2024 and 7th/8th of May 2024

Final: 1st of June 2024

What a draw, man, we cannot wait for that first game at St. James' whoever it's against.
