Newcastle United could be set to give their new £15 million signing a run out this weekend as Magpies play two games in two days.

The Sela Weekender is almost here with Newcastle United taking on Girona on Friday night at St James' Park - Kick-off is 7:30pm.

Then on Saturday, after the women take on AC Milan, the men are back in action as they face off against Brest for the Sela Cup.

New signing Will Osula has sent the Geordies a message on social media saying "see you this weekend" suggesting he could be set to make his first appearance for the club in one of the two games.

Osula's tour of the new training facilities is on the website now

Osula has barley had the chance to find his bearings yet, with the club releasing a video of his first day at the training ground on the website.

We see Osula meeting Eddie Howe, Kieran Trippier, Sven Botman, Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson as well as Darren Eales and James Bunce among other staff members.

It was quite intriguing to hear that there's still more to come at the Benton training ground even though the owners are still looking for a new location for a state-of-the-art training facility.

Osula was impressed with the training ground

The training complex now has a temporary sauna while a bigger, permanent sauna is build inside the ground.

Osula seemed to be blown away by the size of the dressing room where we could see he'd been put next to Miguel Almiron, but also we noticed there was a nice blank space next to him which looked like a beautiful spot for Marc Guehi.

With two games taking place over the weekend, Eddie Howe will be using as many players as he can, so it's not a total shock that Osula will be in line for some minutes. We'll just have to see how much he gets to play having only just arrived. He has been doing well for Sheffield United in pre-season so he should be fit enough, it's just a case of knowing the system.
