Last night, it was reported that Newcastle United were interested in signing England winger Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
Rashford has fallen out of favour under Ruben Amorim, and as a result, he spent the latter half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.
While Rashford did look to rediscover his form at Villa, he still feels like a huge risk for whichever club opts to take him away from Old Trafford.
His £320K-a-week wages make a move hugely off-putting as there aren't many clubs who could, never mind would, match that, although it's been reported that Rashford is aware he'd have to take a hit on his wages if he were to move.
Aston Villa are still weighing up the possibility of bringing Rashford back to Villa Park, but they will probably have to wait until the PSR reporting deadline has passed before they can realistically make that move.
Meanwhile, The Chronicle have reported that Newcastle United are not interested in making a move for Rashford, which was music to our ears (eyes?).
As we stated last night, Rashford plays in a position for which Newcastle have ample cover, and that's before you even look at the finances and Rashford's history.
A few years ago, I'd have snapped Man United's hands off for Rashford, he looked like one of the best forwards in the League, but something switched and it has been all downhill since, except for his brief spell at Villa last season.
Although even during that spell at Villa, he couldn't nail down a place in the starting line-up and he only managed four goals, so maybe I've been romanticising that a bit for him too.
It's definitely one Newcastle should avoid, and we're glad that that seems to be the stance from the club too.
