Newcastle United are about to enter the world of digital streaming with a new partnership just announced.

Outlet TVBEurope have reported that Newcastle will be updating their current streaming system with a new partnership alongside Endeavour Streaming.

The new streaming service which will be available via the newcastleunited.com website as before, will also be available on the upcoming iOS and Android app which was teased by the club on X on Wednesday.

Being able to streaming friendlies via the Newcastle United website is nothing new, but Endeavour will be handling things for the upcoming friendlies.

The new service will be packed with content

As well as friendlies, the streaming service will continue to provide interviews with players and staff and highlights, but will now also include full match replays and original documentaries.

Dan Ginger, director of brand, marketing and digital media at Newcastle United said:

“The implementation of Endeavor Streaming is another step forward in our commitment to bringing fans closer to the club, providing an unparalleled digital experience, ensuring our supporters have seamless access to exclusive content and live matches. We are excited about the possibilities this collaboration brings and look forward to engaging with our global fanbase in new and dynamic ways.”

Could this be the next step to a future digital season ticket?

Hopefully, this is the first step towards a future where every match can be streamed live wherever you are in the world.

Many fans have said that they'd be happy to pay for a subscription service that allowed them to watch all of Newcastle United's games every season and if every club offered a similar service, we'd go out on a limb and say you'd soon see a huge decrease in the number of "dodgy firesticks" being sold.

It's crazy that the 3pm blackout still exists and equally mental that in 2024 we still can't watch every game live without being branded a pirate.
