Newcastle United have released their usual training gallery ahead of tomorrow night's tricky fixture against Liverpool.
The photos were taken during Monday's training session with the lads who played on Saturday were put through their paces in the indoor gym while the substitutes and reserves were subjected to the elements doing drills with the gaffer outside.
Alexander Isak was suspiciously absent from all the images, but as we've learned by now, that's not as damning as it may seem at first.
However, it wasn't about who was absent this time, more than who was present.
While you only get a glimpse of the back of his head in the photos on the official website, another image taken this morning has emerged online showing 17-year-old Sean Neave in first-team training.
Neave is rapidly making a name for himself at Newcastle having scored eight goals in nine games already this season with a couple of assists sprinkled on top.
Newcastle are lacking firepower this season so it's good to see Eddie Howe at least taking a look at the youngster.
We obviously don't expect Neave to be part of the squad tomorrow night, or any time in the near future for that matter, but the fact that Howe is taking an interest is a good sign.
Hopefully, he will soon make the leap to the first team like Lewis Miley, with whom he was pictured in training today.
Personally, I'd throw him in the deep end against Liverpool. At least his desire to prove himself would likely lead to him taking a shot!
