Lewis Hall is Newcastle United's newest England international as Lee Carsley named the left-back as part of his final squad before departing the role.
Nobody can say that Hall hasn't earned the spot after his performances this season, but combined with the fact that left-back has been England's weakest position for years, it makes perfect sense that Carsley would try something new.
Meanwhile, on the opposite flank there's Tino Livramento who has also had a great start to the season and as called up as part of Lee Carsley's first England squad, but never actually made it onto the pitch.
For Carsley's next squad, Livramento was left to the U21s, but after Curtis Jones pulled out of the squad, Livramento was pulled into the senior side, again, not managing to make his senior debut.
History has repeated itself with Tino being left to the U21s for November, but after Trent Alexander-Arnold picked up a knock on Sunday, the Liverpool man withdrew from the international squad and Tino Livramento has been called up to replace him.
Tino is one of eight changes to the squad after several high profile players were forced to withdraw.
Chelsea pair Levi Colwill and Cole Palmer, Arsenal duo Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka, Manchester City midfielders Phil Foden and Jack Grealish, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Southampton's Aaron Ramsdale have all pulled out to be replaced with Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen, Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite and Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford have also been added to interim boss Lee Carsley’s squad.
The question is, is Tino once again just there to make up the numbers for Carsley or will he actually get his first cap this time?
We are expecting to see Lewis Hall given a shot at left-back given England's lack of options in that role. Unfortunately for Tino, right back has never been a real issue for England, but with Kieran Trippier having hung up his international boots and Trent Alexander-Arnold injured, there's hope for the Newcastle man this time.
Fingers crossed for the Newcastle defensive duo, although we're sure Thomas Tuchel will be more than aware of their talents and they may not have to wait too much longer for a senior cap if Carsley doesn't grant them this time.
