Newcastle United are set to see several first-team stars move on in the next week as the transfer window enters its final stages.

The Magpies have already seen a number of first-team players leave the club this summer. Newcastle boss Eddie Howe was forced to offload Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh to avoid PSR woes.

Fans also saw the release of long-term veterans Paul Dummett and Matt Ritchie with the latter now playing for newly promoted Championship side Portsmouth. Loris Karius, Jeff Hendrick and Kell Watts' contracts were also not renewed.

Now, with Howe and sporting director Paul Mitchell still eyeing new, high value incomings players will have to be moved on to make way for the new stars.

Long-term Newcastle United stars are available this summer.

ChronicleLive reported Aaron Stokes has named Martin Dubravka as one of the first-team exits despite the 35-year-old featuring in the Magpies Sela Cup win over Brest on Saturday.

Newcastle may be looking to cash in on the Slovakian's impressive performances at Euro 2024. Celtic were reportedly interested earlier in the transfer window but opted for a move for Kasper Schmeichel instead.

Dubravka still has interest in the Middle East, however.

Harrison Ashby is another player who is free to leave this summer, the 22-year-old is still yet to make a competitive senior appearance for the Magpies since his arrival from West Ham but a lacklustre and injury-ridden loan stint at Swansea City hasn't helped his cause.

Newcastle players expected to leave on loan

Youth stars Joe White and Alfie Harrison have been placed on the loan list this summer. Both players have featured for Howe's side in pre-season but could benefit from a spell away from the club to help with development.

Travan Sanusi will remain on Tyneside to develop along with Jamie Miley who could work closely with the first-team this season.

Jamal Lewis looks set to leave the club this summer with just a year left on his contract. The 26-year-old featured in last weekend's Sela Cup.

Ryan Fraser looks to be pushing for a move away with Southampton the only option for him. The Scotland international also has a year left on his deal and may push for a loan move for the upcoming season.

Isaac Hayden is under contract until 2026 but looks set for another loan move away due to his hefty wage bill. Championship side Queens Park Rangers are thought to be interested in the former Arsenal and Hull midfielder.
