It was only a matter of time before the club confirmed what we already knew - Will Osula has signed for Newcastle United.

The 21-year-old signed from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee believed to be £10 million plus £5 million in add-ons.

Newcastle put out the announcement at 9am on Thursday morning before Eddie Howe faces the media to talk about the Sela Weekender.

The Danish under 21 international can play as a striker or a winger and is itching to get going at his new club.
