Newcastle United fans will absolutely love what Joelinton did before returning from international duty

While Newcastle United fans celebrated their team's achievement of lifting the Carabao Cup on the 16th of March, several of the players weren't so lucky as they had to leave their teammates to head out on international duty the very next day.

Indeed, tomorrow will be the players' first real possibility to celebrate all together as the team will parade the cup through Newcastle city centre before taking to a stage which has been erected on the Town Moor, which will be the site of a huge celebration put on by the club and front-of-shirt sponsors, Sela.

Being separated from each other hasn't stopped some players from celebrating, however, as Joelinton has now proved.

The Brazilian held a Newcastle-themed party in his native Brazil to show off his winner's medal.

As Sporting Life posted on X as they shared the story of Joelinton's party, it does indeed answer a big question that many fans have of players.

"You always hear “do players really care?” and “it’s just the league cup” and stuff. Joelinton held an entire #NUFC themed party last night in his hometown just to show off his medal. 😂"

Clearly, Big Joe cares and who can blame him? After the work he has put in at Newcastle United to get to a point where has a winner's medal, he deserves his own party.

Bruno Guimaraes had a Newcastle-themed celebration of his own

A few days ago, Bruno Guimaraes' wife Ana Lidia, posted images to Instagram of herself and Bruno with their kids in front of a pool back in Brazil, but behind the pool were Newcastle United banners and black and white balloons.

Joey and Bruno clearly love the Toon as much as we love them.

We're not sure whether Joelinton's party was genuinely held last night or if he just uploaded all the images to his Instagram story yesterday. We expect he and Bruno Guimaraes are heading back to England for Saturday's celebrations unless they're heading back today and are set to power through.
