After a pretty quiet January transfer window, deathly quiet if you're a Newcastle United fan, the summer rumour mill is already in full swing.

The big stories involving Newcastle are about potential exits at the moment, particularly following the saga involving Sandro Tonali, which started on deadline day of the January window.

Thankfully, talk about the Italian has died down in the last few days, but the gossip columns picked up on a story involving another high-profile Newcastle star.

On Sunday, the BBC kicked off their gossip roundup, suggesting that Liverpool are 'frontrunners' in a three-way race to sign Newcastle's Anthony Gordon.

Anthony Gordon could be a very wanted man in the summer

Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are eyeing Anthony Gordon

The story came from Caught Offside's "sources", so make of this what you will, but it's claimed that Arsenal and Manchester City are also keen on the England winger, who has struggled for form this season, but they'd have to pay £95 million to acquire his services.

Gordon only recently signed a contract extension at Newcastle, but there have been suggestions that his head has been turned following endless speculation about a move to his boyhood club, Liverpool.

At times, he's certainly played like his head is elsewhere this season, although we do feel he's turned a corner now, and we're starting to see more from him.

Would you let Anthony Gordon go in the summer?

There are probably plenty of fans who'd give AG10 a piggyback to Liverpool for £95 million after this season, though, so it's one of those decisions that, if it comes to pass, could divide the fanbase.

We're not completely convinced by the claims, but it would make sense that the 'Big Six' sides would be looking at Gordon, especially Liverpool, who are going to have to replace Mo Salah eventually.

Would you take £95 million for Gordon at the end of the season, or does he deserve another shot? One approach could be to wait to see how he fares at the World Cup as that could greatly affect his asking price.
