With just three weeks to go until the transfer window closes and one week until the Premier League season returns Newcastle United still have some shopping to do.

The Magpies still haven't found their Mr Right (Wing) who would complete their incoming transfer business this summer.

Should the Magpies find the right player and the right deal quickly, they could then get fully to work on trying to move some players on.

Miguel Almiron has been clinging to the ankles of Newcastle United all summer and no amount of leg shaking has encouraged him to let go, but with no replacement lined up, it may end up being a blessing in disguise.

Dejan Kulusevski: Probably a bit off in terms of Eddie Howe's hotness rating for new signings

Newcastle are eyeing Dejan Kulusevski

We fully believe that Newcastle need a new winger to replace the Paraguayan ahead of next season to really stand a chance of making a push for the top four again, but the longer this stalemate goes on, the more we fear we're going to have to watch more of the one-legged headless chicken until at least January.

However, NUFCBlog, who claim Newcastle are looking at a loan-to-buy deal for Chelsea's Noni Madueke, also claim that the Magpies are exploring the idea of a move for Tottenham Hotspurs' Dejan Kulusevski.

The 24-year-old Sweden international has reportedly caught Newcastle's eye and the international teammate of Alexander Isak could be an option.

We can't see this one working

Spurs are currently trying to bring in Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth in a £60 million deal which, NUFCBlog believe could push them to sell to keep the books in order from a PSR perspective.

However, Kulusevski is unlikely to come cheap, especially to a Premier League rival.

We can certainly see the appeal of a move for Kulusevski, but we can't really see the way forward. Noni Madueke makes much more sense.
