Newcastle United's new kit supplier Adidas have released the first round of kits and clothing this morning.

The home kit is an instant classic thanks to a remake of the 2001/03 NTL sponsored strip.

They've also hit the nail on the head with the training gear and extras with nods to the Entertainers and classic badges.

But thanks to X account @Retro_NUFC, Newcastle fans will be getting their wallets back out this Christmas.

New retro-inspired long-sleeve Newcastle shirt unveiled

The shirt was teased in the trailer released by the club yesterday evening.

Popular record producer and Newcastle fan CASISDEAD was filmed sitting in a North Shields members club with a mysterious shirt on underneath a bomber jacket.

There was a lot of speculation as to what it could be. Today, it has been revealed that it is a long-sleeve sponsorless Newcastle top that was inspired by previous classic toon kits.

Retro NUFC revealed that the top is an exclusive product to END, and is expected to be released in December.

No date for the away and third kit release

As it stands, the home kit is the only on-pitch item available for purchase. This leaves the away and third kits to be released.

Historically, these kits are released around a month after the home gear so fans should expect another announcement towards the end of June or early July.

Newcastle fans eagerly anticipate what's next as the new Adidas deal already lives up to its potential.
