Newcastle United are still open for outgoing business as a few transfer markets remain open after the European markets closed.

Jamal Lewis is set to become a Sao Paulo player any minute now and speculation over Kieran Trippier remains despite Craig Hope shutting down the weekend's rumours.

The £12 million man had been reported to have agreed terms with Turkish Super Lig side Eyupspor at the weekend, however, moments after the story was run by the Daily Mail, Craig Hope moved to shut down the story from his own 'paper saying there was no truth to the rumour.

However, now Sky Sports' Rob Dorsett has claimed that the Turkish interest is real, and actually greater than first reported.

Three Turkish clubs now want Kieran Trippier on loan this season

Touted as a 'warrior' by former England boss Gareth Southgate, Kieran Trippier has been a monumental signing for Newcastle, but now three Turkish clubs are looking to take the defender on loan this season.

The Turkish transfer window is open until the 18th of September so there's still time for the trio of clubs to make their move.

It's believed that Fenerbahce and Besiktas have joined Eyupspor in their interest in Trippier and all are willing to offer a season-long loan with an option to buy.

Trippier has been linked with an exit all summer

The fact that the loans would contain an option to buy suggests that there actually are two years remaining on his contract and not one as many outlets were reporting earlier in the summer.

There has been a lot of noise around Trippier moving on this summer, but it's very clear that Eddie Howe wants to keep the vice-skipper at the club, however, we can't be sure exactly where Trippier's head is at right now.

He's retired from international football, saw Bruno Guimaraes jump him in the queue for captain and Tino Livramento take his starting spot. Not to mention the off-field drama.
