Chelsea have already hijacked one Newcastle United deal and the summer transfer window hasn't even opened yet.
The Blues' name is often there right next to Newcastle's in almost every transfer story as things start to heat up in the transfer market.
As the Stamford Bridge outfit today confirmed Enzo Maresca as their new manager on a five-year deal - why they're playing games offering anything more than a year when we know he'll be sacked in May anyway is anybody's guess - and it seems the former Leicester City boss is ready to try and scupper Newcastle again.
Reports came out on Monday that Newcastle have made a £35million bid for Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili in the wake of Los Ches owner Peter Lim insisting that they wouldn't entertain offers of anything less than that.
Now Football.London are claiming that Chelsea have also been keeping tabs on Mamardashvili with scouts watching in the second half of 2022/23 season, which just smacks of reporters crying "Well Chelsea saw him first", but hey ho.
If they've been watching him for that long then it looks like it's not a Maresca signing which could be good news for Newcastle.
Although at this point it just feels like they'll make their move just to spite us.
Interestingly the report also mentions another goalkeeper on Chelsea's radar ... Villarreal's Filip Jorgensen. Does that name sound familiar to you? It should, because Newcastle have also been linked to Jorgensen.
The transfer window doesn't open until 14th June and Chelsea are already winding me up.
It's going to be a long summer, I can feel it.
