We're not even half way through the season but reports are arising about potential new kits for Newcastle United next season.
Last season saw the end of the Magpies partnership with previous kit supplier Castore, much to the delight of fans were weren't about the quality of the attire by any means.
Newcastle reunited with former supplier Adidas in a move that brought back fond memories to fans of the clothing brand. They were the supplier during the entertainers era making many classic kits in the process.
Now, fans could relive those magic moments if recent reports are to be believed.
A recent report from X account Retro NUFC suggests that Newcastle's away kit for next season could be a remake of the iconic 1997/98 away kit. A lovely navy blue shirt with two orange and green stripes down the front along with the famous Newcastle Brown Ale logo.
Fans will remember this shirt also has a seahorse reflective of the club badge printed onto the front - a subtle touch which Adidas became accustomed to.
As for the home kit, Footy Headlines previously reported that next seasons shirt would include a black and white shepherds plaid to 'represent the club's origin story'
Retro NUFC has now added to that saying next seasons home kit will '100% have a long sleeved version', something fans were crying out for this season.
The kit manufacturer understood the assignment for their first season back as Newcastle's kit supplier. Fans wanted quality kits full of nostalgia and they got exactly that.
Straight away, Adidas released the remade 2001 home shirt which was a hit with the fans. Then it was the classic 1995/96 claret and blue away strip which took fans back to the days of the entertainers and a partnership of Alan Shearer and Les Ferdinand.
Finally, a beautiful third kit. Honestly one of the best kits I've ever seen, the white and green is beautiful and to top it all off, we got an instantly iconic photo with Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali and Joelinton to go with it.
If these leaks are true, Newcastle fans are in for a real treat.
