The transfer rumours are hotting up with the window opening in just 10 days time.
Newcastle United are now said to be interested in £21million winger Matias Soule from Juventus.
The 20-year-old Argentinian is currently on loan at Frosinone where he's scored six goals in 14 appearances but that's not stopped reports in Italy (via Football Italia) linking the winger with a move away in January with Newcastle and Crystal Palace monitoring the situation.
Talent Scout Jacek Kulig once compared Soule to his fellow countryman Lionel Messi after he scored a breathtaking goal in an under-19s match against Chelsea.
Frosinone president Mauricio Stirpe is braced for losing Soule in January with bids of around €25million (£21.6million) expected to be enough to convince Juventus to sell.
“There is a development process we’ve shared with his club [Juventus] which players must complete without going too fast. Otherwise, it could prove counterproductive.
“That being said, if somebody has special needs, we will sit down, talk and find a solution with common sense. Let me add that we haven’t received any request from Juventus and I don’t think it will happen soon.”
Let's be honest, a clip video can make anyone look good, but Football 360's video (see below) on Soule makes him look amazing. He has stunning close control, is calm in front of goal, and one key thing about him ... he, unlike our current right-winger, can use both feet,
We love Miguel Almiron, but the amount of chances that have gone begging lately because he won't use his right foot has caused some high blood pressure moments to say the least.
A central defender and another striker have to be our priority in January, then maybe goalkeeper and after that we need to look at a replacement for Miggy. He's improved massively under Eddie Howe, we can't deny that, but that flamingo-like trait of his is really starting to cost us now.
