Manchester City have been keeping a close eye on Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento as Pep Guardiola looks to replace Kyle Walker, but City have also been raiding the youth setup at Newcastle.
The Tino Livramento likes have thankfully died down despite the 22-year-old's impressive displays for England U21s as the Young Lions successfully defended their European Champions crown.
Similar to how Newcastle have been mooching around trying to pick up the best young talent they can find, Manchester City are pretty adept at doing the same, and it seems they've found a gem lurking in Newcastle's Under-15s.
Fabrizio Romano posted on X last night that Man City are about to sign Ethan Fullen from Newcastle.
Romano claims that Fullen has been identified as a 'huge talent' and that the final details are being ironed out ahead of the switch.
"🚨🔵 Manchester City are closing in on one more deal for the Academy: Ethan Fullen set to join from Newcastle U15.
"Seen as huge talent, Fullen joins #MCFC with details being sorted."
The 14-year-old forward was part of the Under 15s side that was defeated 7-3 by the J-League Under 15 Select XI last summer, with the then 13-year-old getting on the scoresheet after coming off the bench.
It seems a bit counter-productive allowing a player deemed to be a 'huge talent' to leave, but if Manchester City's academy comes knocking, you'd be a fool not to go if we're being honest.
We wish Ethan the best of luck, and we'll be keeping an eye out for him in the future.
