Honestly, we thought when Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool that their almost Manchester Unitedian levels of entitlement would die down but it seems they're clinging on to it.

There are just three weeks left in the transfer window and Liverpool have yet to make any significant signings for new boss Arne Slot.

As much as Newcastle United fans have been crying of a slow summer, the Scousers must be going nuts.

It's okay though, because Give Me Sport believes the Reds have a plan for some 'late window drama' which heavily involves Newcastle.

Anthony Gordon to Liverpool - the rumour that just won't go away

Liverpool are eyeing Anthony Gordon and Bruno Guimaraes

We are all well versed by now in the Anthony Gordon rumours. Newcastle really only have themselves to blame for this mess for opening the door to Liverpool when the club was in PSR panic mode, but since the sales of Yankuba Minteh and Elliot Anderson, Newcastle are now in a much stronger position and don't need to sell.

That hasn't stopped Liverpool from giving the side-eye to Gordon and the media from pushing the agenda in a bid to unsettle the Liverpool-born star.

However, not content with potentially upsetting one of our biggest stars, the report also suggests that Liverpool are weighing up a move for Bruno Guimaraes.

Bruno Guimaraes is 100% going nowhere this summer

Bruno's £100 million release clause no longer exists, but GMS reckons Liverpool could throw a late bid our way. They do state that Bruno Guimaraes is happy at Newcastle, I mean, if you'd listened to his press conference yesterday you'd say he was positively thrilled to be at Newcastle.

GMS also says that Manchester City are more likely than Liverpool to bid, but they only value Bruno at £80 million. If I were them I wouldn't even waste the phone call.

We didn't want to sell him for £100 million so we're hardly going to accept £20 million less are we?
