Lewis Hall and Lewis Miley have been included in the latest England Elite Squad for two upcoming fixtures at the end of the month.

The 19-year-old Hall and 17-year-old Miley will be a part of the squad for matches against Poland on Friday the 22nd of March, and Czechia on the 26th of March. The pair will be included in this newly named squad, formerly known as the 'MU20' (basically a U20 squad).

Lewis Miley has had a breakout season, and will now represent England at his highest level thus far. He previously played 10 times for the U17 squad in 2022 and featured twice for the U19 squad in 2023.

The central midfielder's rise up the England ranks has been mirrored by his rise at his boyhood club. Indeed, Miley's unlucky not to have made the full U21 squad given what he's shown at NUFC this season.

It's easy to forget but Lewis Hall does play for Newcastle

It's hard to believe, I know. But Lewis Hall is a Newcastle United player. The boy has talent. I mean, we even included him in our sensible transfers list because, frankly, he's one of the highest potential young left-backs in Europe. However, these EES games might be the best chance Toon fans have to see him in action now that Matt Targett is back in the mix!

Hall is nailed on to sign for Newcastle in the Summer. While we probably won't get confirmation of this until the season is over, Newcastle fans must look forward to the future of one of England's most promising young stars.

Here's hoping both Lewises do us proud on the national stage and enjoy being away together. We're sure they will on each count!
