Juventus are hoping Newcastle United are keen to take advantage of winger Federico Chiesa's small price tag this summer, according to reports.
The 26-year-old has just one year left on his current deal and looks set to leave the Old Lady this summer for just £17million.
The Magpies are reportedly interested in signing Chiesa with Toon boss Eddie Howe keen on strengthening his attacking options for the upcoming season.
Chiesa played four games in this year's European Championships but failed to make an impact before being dumped out in the round of 16.
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Juventus are 'hoping for a lunge' from a club like Newcastle or Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.
Both clubs are said to have a good relationship with Chiesa's representatives which could help the Magpies get the deal over the line.
The outlet is reporting that Juventus are currently asking for £17m for the winger, but could be forced to reduce their asking price in the coming weeks if they are desperate to let the player go.
Chiesa would certainly be an improvement on Miguel Almiron who looks set to leave the club this summer in a move to the Saudi Pro League.
The Italian international scored 10 goals in 37 appearances for Juventus last season, an impressive number despite a disappointing season.
The 26-year-old established himself as one of the top players in the Italian top flight during his time with Fiorentina and Juventus.
With 77 career goals in 324 appearances, he is destined to be successful elsewhere.
