We love a good kit rumour here at the FEED, and we love seeing concept kits and passing judgement on them in the 'office', and every now and then we'll share our thoughts with you.

Lately, we've seen a certain design doing the rounds, which many people are adamant will be the real deal next season, and now it looks like The Times journalist Martin Hardy may have just confirmed its authenticity.

Martin Hardy drafted a question to his source showing images of the home and away kits for next season and asking whether the kit designs are in the right ballpark.

There's still plenty of room for doubt here, as Hardy was asking if they're accurate rather than stating they were, and he also acknowledges that the image he's presenting shows Alan Shearer wearing the home shirt despite him knowing that Shearer didn't pose for the image himself - we've seen it with Bruno Guimaraes, for example.

Nyeeeeeoooowwww

The home kit is very polarising already, going with a mixture of thin and thick stripes. We're fans of it, however, and we're glad to see Adidas taking some risks for a change.

Although I can't help being reminded of The Big Bang Theory when I see it, when Sheldon Cooper goes to a costume party dressed as the Doppler Effect.

The away shirt shows a dark blue/purple shirt with the 70's badge and the Adidas trefoil logo. The image doesn't show a whole lot of detail, but we're big fans of the colour and potential simplicity of the design.

We've got ur fingers crossed that these designs are legit

Hardy has since deleted this post, but the genie is out of the bottle now, so we thought we'd go with it.

It still seems a bit early for leaked shirts doing the rounds on social media to be the actual designs, but eventually something's going to be right, and there's a strong feeling out there that these are legit.

What are your thoughts on the kit designs?
