Newcastle United are in the Midlands to take on Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League, live on Sky Sports with a 5:30pm kick-off.

The Magpies are looking to consolidate their third-place position in the league, which they can do by avoiding defeat against an in-form Aston Villa side.

A win would take them within a point of Arsenal, at least for now, with the Gunners taking on Ipswich tomorrow.

It's going to be far from an easy task, however, with Unai Emery's side in banging form lately.

It's hardly a surprise to see that Jason Tindall has stuck with the same team that has won the last six games in a row, even though this starting XI are going into their third game in under a week.

The fact that Newcastle won the last two games so comfortably allowed Tindall the opportunity to rest some big players early in those games, so sharpness and fitness shouldn't be a problem.

Tindall also has the likes of Anthony Gordon and Callum Wilson on the bench to beef up the firepower should this side start to struggle.
