We've said it before, and we'll say it again - rival fans simply do not understand the levels of passion Newcastle United supporters have for their club. Every fanbase thinks that they are the best in the world, and that's fine, but there are few that come close to the levels of passion displayed by the Geordies.

Newcastle has been starved of success for decades but still fills out their 52,000 stadium for every game. Yes, there were a couple of years there when tickets could have been printed on the back of cereal boxes and still not used, but that was a protest of the owner and had nothing to do with the club or the team.

We set Championship attendance records during our dark years, so even when things weren't great, we still turned up to watch sub-par football.

So yes, it's only right that when we won a recognised trophy, we were going to celebrate like crazy.

Not all rival fans have been bitter, but the ones who have - wow!

We've seen a lot of messages from rival fans absolutely buzzing for us since our cup win, but we've also seen those gobshites calling us out for celebrating despite their team winning chuff all.

It all boils down to sheer jealousy. If a fanbase and a team can't celebrate winning a trophy, then what is the point in the sport at all?

This is a lesson that TalkSPORT host and former Tottenham player Jamie O'Hara needs to learn after he's gone off on a huge rant about Newcastle's celebrations, saying we've gone on like we've won the Premier League and that we have a 'small club mentality'.

How bad do you have to be to be called out by Jason Cundy?

In fact, he was being such an arse about it that even Jason Cundy had to call him out. That's like being told you smell of crap by an actual sentient piece of crap.

O'Hara tried to put it into perspective saying that when he won the League Cup with Spurs they went out on the lash that night and went back to work the next day. Well, if that's your club's attitude to winning silverware, then it's just as well Spurs haven't won anything since, you don't deserve it.

Let us do our thing. If you don't understand what passion looks like, then just keep it to yourself, stop making yourself look like a jealous, bitter baby.
