The lack of meaningful football during an international break is one thing, but from our point of view, the lack of interesting things to write about is even worse.
Thankfully one of the lads in the NUFCFEED office has stumbled across this quality thread on X which depicts "Wonky Newcastle Stars" - hand drawn pictures of Newcastle legends which are as genius as they are amusing.
The thread is ever-increasing throughout the day but it has already got off to a blinding start with a 'wonky' picture of David Ginola who still looks gorgeous.
In fact, the artist, @CheapPanini even commented "Drew and was somehow immediately pregnant".
At the time of writing, Ginola has been joined by Paul Gascoigne with a stunning perm, Rob Lee, Pavel Srnicek, Les Ferdinand and Steven Taylor after being hit by that sniper's bullet.
Fans are getting their requests in for more with one fan requesting Temuri Ketsbaia kicking the advertising boards which I really hope they do. Such an iconic moment.
Barry Venison seems to be a popular request too with his long flowing locks.
We're certainly going to be checking in throughout the day to see who else has been added with the aim being to do 36 drawings today.
It's got to be more entertaining than reading about transfer stories we knew about weeks ago dressed up as new exclusives.
We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for some Philippe Albert action after scoring that delightful chip over Peter Schmeichel.
