Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes was heavily involved in yesterday's huge win over Arsenal at St James' Park.
Reinstated to the middle of the park over Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes had one of his best games of the season as Newcastle executed Eddie Howe's masterplan to perfection.
The possession stats may hint that Arsenal controlled the game, but in truth, it was the home side who were in control the whole time.
Newcastle allowed Arsenal to have the ball as they created a brick wall in front of Nick Pope who didn't have a save to make all game.
After the game fans flocked to social media to soak up the player's reactions and in true form Bruno Guimaraes posted a message to the fans on X.
"I hope that one day you understand how much I like you @NUFC 🖤🤍3️⃣9️⃣"
Erm, 'like'? We bloody love you, Bruno. Are you breaking up with us?
Of course we're just messing, we know how much this club, our fans and everything connected to it means to Bruno G. We've done a bang up job of making him and his family feel at home and showing him week in week out how much we appreciate him.
And with his passion and fan interactions we know how much he loves us too.
A clip posted by TNT Sports on their X account showed this perfectly after Bruno handed his shirt to a young fan after the game. You could see just how excited and happy the kid was with this gesture.
We all love you Bruno, we all know it, we all understand.
