Luton Town manager Rob Edwards has singled out Eddie Howe for praise in his pre-match press conference going into tomorrow's match.
Newcastle United travel to Kenilworth Road to take on Premier League newbies Luton Town in what is going to be an emotionally-charged game.
Last week in their game against Bournemouth, Luton captain Tom Lockyer collapsed on the pitch as he suffered another cardiac event just months after a similar thing happened to him in the Playoff Final. The match with Bournemouth was abandoned due to the incident.
As you'd expect, Tom Lockyer was the main focus of Rob Edwards' presser as people were desperate for updates on his condition. Thankfully the Wales international is now at home and recovering.
There's obviously a feeling now that Luton will want to "do it for Tom" tomorrow and the crowd will certainly be making their voices heard in support of their captain.
Edwards did manage to talk about the opposition though, and he had lots of praise for Newcastle boss Eddie Howe and the way Newcastle play (via BBC Sport).
"Energy, quality and clear way of playing. Huge respect for what Eddie Howe has done in his whole coaching career, and what he's done at Newcastle is really impressive. I love the way he goes about it and handles himself. They've had a lot of games this year, but they've been able to churn them out. It will be an exciting game."
It will be another case of churning out a result should Newcastle want to get anything from tomorrow's game as injuries continue to be a huge issue for the Magpies. Coupled with that is the shocking away form which has seen Newcastle pick up just one Premier League win on the road this season.
Luton should be an 'easy' game like the one at Bramall Lane earlier this season, but we're expecting it to be anything but.
