'He's got a lot to learn': Jacob Murphy digs out 'lighting fast' Newcastle United teammate in interview with BBC Sport

Newcastle United have some rapid players on their books with Anthony Gordon previously holding the title as the club's fastest player.

However, it seems that the England winger might have been bumped down to second place following the arrival of Will Osula last summer.

We've not seen a great deal of Osula in action this season, but the glimpses we have seen give us the impression that he's strong, good with the ball at his feet and pretty rapid.

That last point has been confirmed by Jacob Murphy who told Match of the Day's X account that Will Osula is 'lightning fast' and probably the club's quickest player, although he does concede that Anthony Gordon would give him a run for his money.

It wasn't all compliments for the former Sheffield United forward, though, as Jacob Murphy did slap Osula with the title of the worst-dressed player at the club after declaring Joe Willock the best.

"Will Osula, unfortunately. He's got a lot to learn in that department, and hopefully Joe Willock can give him a few pointers."

The fact that Osula spend most of the day wearing a scarf on his head during the Carabao Cup parade, it's not really a surprise that he's being shamed for his fashion sense.

Murphy was also asked who has the hardest shot in the squad, and the winger confidently named Sandro Tonali.

We've seen that the Italian can hit the ball, and he's fairly accurate, too. Which makes it all the more frustrating when he (and indeed the rest of the side) refuse to hit speculative efforts from long range. They might go in, they might deflect, it could be blocked, which could fall to the feet of one of our players to tuck it away. JUST HAVE A DIG!
