'Great effort' Dan Burn has taken to Instagram like a duck to water with eggsellent video

Big Dan Burn has had quite the month having been picked for England, making his international debut at 32, scoring a goal at Wembley for his boyhood club setting them on their way to winning their first silverware in half a century and then celebrating that win with 300,000 Newcastle United fans.

Among all of that, the 6'7" defender also joined the 21st century and signed up for Instagram with teammate Harvey Barnes advertising that fact for him at the PDC Darts last week.

It hasn't taken long for the fan-favourite to light up the world of social media, although Bruno Guimaraes has already told his mate to pack it in.

Dan Burn once again gave us all another reason to love him after he sprung into action late at night to do his six-year-old daughter's homework.

In the video he posted to Instagram he noted that it was easter egg competition day the next day and his daughter hadn't done it, so being the legend he is, he made sure she didn't go to school empty-handed.

Saying that he was 'inspired by recent events' Dan Burn used the egg box and a few eggs to replicate Saturday's bus parade while saying he hopes it will pass as the work of a six-year-old.

It probably would have had he not posted it all over social media, to be fair. We loved his little self-congratulatory send-off at the end of the video - "Great effort".

Bruno Guimaraes is only interested in Kinder eggs

However, teammate, Bruno Guimaraes wasn't so impressed with Burn's quality content posting a comment to Burn's video.

"😂😂😂😂😂 what u doing man!! Get out of Instagram please 😂😂😂😂😂"

Does anybody else absolutely love the fact that Bruno ends so many sentences with 'man' these days? I mean, howay man, that's proper mint.

I'm personally buzzing that I kept it down to just two egg puns in this entire piece.
