Last night's victory at Old Trafford was the type of night that Newcastle United fans will remember for a long time and would definitely kick themselves if they missed.

My memory is absolutely shocking, but I still remember where I was when Newcastle demolished Man United 5-0 at St James' Park, and last night's game, while not as impressive a scoreline, was just as significant. That opening 30 minutes is some of the best football we've ever seen.

Paul Dummett was among the Newcastle United fans at Old Trafford

Wigan Athletic's latest addition and 24-year veteran of Newcastle United, Paul Dummett posted a photo to his Instagram reels showing that he was in the Old Trafford crowd.

The lifelong Newcastle fan will no doubt have enjoyed his time in the stands watching his beloved club destroy one of their most despised rivals.

The 33-year-old left Newcastle in the summer when his contract expired after joining the club as a youth in 2000 ending a 24-year tenure at the club that he loves.

Another former player and Newcastle United supporter was also said to be in the crowd last night, although he wasn't seen, just mentioned by Gary Neville.

Being a Manchester United legend, we're not sure which way he'll have been leaning last night but Bryan Robson was in attendance.

The Chester-Le-Street-born midfield legend grew up supporting Newcastle but after 13 years at Manchester United he may consider himself a red these days.
