Newcastle United look to be in danger of striking out again in the search for a striker to challenge or replace Alexander Isak, depending on what happens in the coming weeks.

The Magpies have seen three top striker targets opt for 'big six' clubs, as well as two wingers. The most painful of which were seeing Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo opt for Manchester United after claiming they want to play in the Champions League.

Now it looks as though Benjamin Sesko, who wants to leave RB Leipzig after they missed out on Champions League qualification, may also opt to head to the team that finished 15th in the Premier League last season and don't even have a Europa Conference League spot to offer.

At least that is according to former Middlesbrough striker Jan Aage Fjortoft on X.

Benjamin Sesko is waiting for Manchester United according to Jan Aage Fjortoft

Fjortoft bills himself as a reliable source, and Man United News have also decided he's reliable (in this instance at least) as the pundit has heavily suggested that Benjamin Sesko is waiting for a move to Old Trafford.

"Re: Šeško

"He gets what he wants at Newcastle, but he wants Manchester United

"Or as Coldplay says it:

"You get what you want, but not what you need"

Into the sea with you, Sesko!

If Newcastle have offered him everything he wants, including Champions League football by the way, and he still wants Man United, then tell him to get all the way to ferk!

We've absolutely had enough of greedy ass footballers chasing glory at clubs based on their reputation rather than recent successes.

We're not sure who that leaves us with, other than Ollie Watkins and Nicolas Jackson, and if that's who we resort to, then I'm really not going to enjoy my job next season!
