Premier League football returns this weekend after the conclusion of the latest international break. Newcastle United will travel to Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday for a 3pm kick-off.

Newcastle have a few injury problems to contend with as Eddie Howe has both of his young full-backs unavailable through injury.

Yoane Wissa was originally pencilled in to return for this game, but a setback has moved his recovery back to next month.

Jacob Ramsey should be back in contention for a place in the squad after being afforded a bit of extra time to recover after a report suggested he'd be back in the squad when Newcastle took on Nottingham Forest before the break.

Yankuba Minteh may miss Saturday's game against Newcastle

Yankubah Minteh will take a late fitness test ahead of Newcastle clash

Meanwhile, Brighton have a few issues and one of their key men, Yankuba Minteh, will be facing a late fitness test before being included in their squad.

The winger was a Newcastle United player for one season, although he spent the entirety of his time as a Newcastle player playing for Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, signing for the Dutch side immediately after joining the Magpies.

Minteh was sold to Brighton for £33 million as Newcastle did what they could to avoid sanctions for breaching PSR.

We wouldn't object to Minteh being given another week to recover

Minteh has already scored against Newcastle, despite never having played for the club, and he refused to celebrate the goal.

We hope that Minteh's injury isn't serious, but at the same time, we hope he won't return to haunt us again at the weekend.

Is it just me, or can you not wait for the end of this international break? It feels like it has been going on for years.
