Troy Deeney has once again selected a representative from Newcastle United in his Team of the Week.

Charged with selecting the best XI players of the weekend's Premier League games for the BBC, Troy Deeney has once again looked to Newcastle United.

Obviously, last week, the Magpies weren't represented in the Team of the Week after having a nightmare all round against Bournemouth.

However, Newcastle got back to winning ways at Southampton on Saturday, and while it still wasn't Eddie Howe's men at their best, they did manage to have a player deemed as one of the best over the weekend's games.

Troy Deeney once again picked Alexander Isak in his Team of the Week

It's hardly a surprise that said player is Alexander Isak after his two goals against the Saints, both of which were stunning in their own right.

After winning a penalty for Newcastle, Isak stepped up and placed the ball on the spot and, with a stuttered run-up, sent the 'keeper one way and rolled the ball into the other. Then his second goal was even better, bringing a fizzed Jacob Murphy through ball under his spell with one touch and then stroking the ball into the corner with his second. Magnificent.

This is what Deeney said about Isak:

"Alexander Isak (Newcastle): He just keeps scoring. You can't leave someone out when they score two goals every week. He has been excellent and deserves to keep going."

Alexander Isak has 13 goals in his last 10 Premier League games

After missing out on scoring last week, Isak made up for that by bagging a brace, so while his streak of scoring in every game was broken, his current record is still 13 goals in his last 10 Premier League outings.

We can't believe how lucky we are that Isak is a Newcastle player, in all honesty. As Dan Burn said, he is priceless. There is no amount that should even tempt the club into selling him as replacing a player like that is impossible.

Let's hope we can nab Champions League football this season so that there's no reason for him to want to leave come the summer.
